What is Cash Over the Counter remittance?
It is a service where the beneficiary can collect money in cash from a bank branch location without needing a bank account.
Do I need a bank account to receive the money?
No. You can collect the remittance in cash by simply showing a valid ID (CNIC/NICOP/Passport) at the counter.
What documents are required to collect the money?
You only need a valid CNIC (or NICOP/Passport). In some cases, a transaction or reference number (e.g., MTCN) may also be required.
How soon can I receive the money?
Funds are usually available for instant collection as soon as the sender completes the transaction. Delays are rare.
Are there any charges or fees for receiving money?
No. Receiving remittances in Pakistan is completely free of charge. There are no hidden fees.
Is this service secure?
Yes. This service is fully secure and regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan and international partners.
What is the campaign period?
The campaign will run from May 11 to July 10, 2025, for a total of 60 days.
The beneficiary must receive home remittance via Cash Over the Counter (COC) during the campaign period.
